Featured Vendors

Vendors marked as "Featured" are pinned to the top of the directory. Featured status is granted at our discretion to highlight quality vendors. However:

• Featured status does not affect the vendor's trust score — that is entirely community-driven.
• Featured vendors are still subject to the same approval and review process as all other listings.
• Featured status is always visually distinct so you know it's a promoted placement.

Trust Scores

Trust scores are calculated from community votes. Each visitor can vote once per vendor. We use voter deduplication to prevent manipulation. FurFinds staff cannot artificially inflate or deflate trust scores.

Vendor Approval

All vendor submissions are manually reviewed before being listed. We check for:

• Legitimacy — the store/service actually exists and functions
• Relevance — the vendor serves the furry community
• Accuracy — the description and category are correct
• NSFW labelling — adult content is properly flagged

Data & Privacy

FurFinds collects minimal data:

• Voting: We generate an anonymous UUID stored in your browser's localStorage. This is hashed before being sent to our database. We cannot identify you from this data.
• Age verification: Your 18+ confirmation is stored locally in your browser only. It is not sent to any server.
• Vendor submissions: The information you provide in the submission form (store name, URL, description, category) is stored in our database for review.
• Ads: We use Google AdSense which may use cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
